Fred's Bowl has the look, feel and weight of frosted glass but all the safety and convenience of plastic.

  • It has a very hard, non-porous surface so it is difficult to scratch.

  • It is comparable to ceramic, glass or steel in terms of food safety.

  • Our material has been tested and approved for food safety contact for pets and humans. This bowl is not recommended for use in the dishwasher.

  • Fred's Bowl measures 2" high, and is a 5" round.

  • It weighs about 1/2 lb. and comfortably holds wet food, a cup of dry food and is great for water too.

1Cats Rule, but Roxy's Bowls Don't  Jan 04, 2008

This bowl looked so cool in the photo. Frosty and translucent. The little legs would lift the kibbles up to my kitties fuzzy face saving him neckstrain at feeding time. Save your money instead. This pricey thing arrived and it has a cheap plastic feel AND a gold plastic logo glued into a hole on the side that is in no way visible in the photo. That was the most offensive thing about it, and it doesn't help that it is on a par, qualitywise, with a gumball machine prize. A Dollar Store would be embarassed to sell this, even though they could probably get a gross of them for the price I paid for one. If I could give it negative stars I would.

I purchased this bowl along with two others from Cats Rule and decided that this one is not as good as the other two. The bowl is too bulky and looks more yellow than white. Also, it's not deep enough to be practical for daily use. Overall, I just did not like it as much as other Cats Rule bowls and decided to send it back. Plus, it had many scratches brand new out of the box :(

this is quite a large bowl and is nice enough to use for humans. it is very heavy and would not tilt over under any normal circumstances. the color is a very cheery shade of pink and so cute.
