This costume is really cute on, my biggest issue was keeping it on the dog! If your dog is happy to wear a costume, you should have no worries. You will get the desired laughs. The only negative for this item is that I wish the material had been a little better/nicer. But, it's only for 1 day a year, so who really cares?

Really cute. Ordered an X-large for an average sized mutt. Fit perfect. Really cute costume. 1 week turnaround delivery time. I would order from this vender again.
Very Cute but Way Too Small Apr 11, 2012

I ordered this costume for my Australian Shepherd. He was about 7 months when we wore it and he is very small for his breed, weighing only 40lb. as opposed to a standard 55lb. I got him the extra large which was recommended for the breed and it was still too small. He was able to wear it, but the tail only passed about two thirds of his back and the hood wouldn't stay put. I just think the sizes don't make sense. Aussies are a mid-sized breed and an extra largest was the largest option. What about larger breeds?
Besides the size, the costume is really cute and most people realized he was either a lobster or a crab, and occasionally they thought he was a centipede. The antennas are really cute as well. The quality is descent and acceptable for the price. He played pretty roughly with two other dogs and eventually lost one of the claws, but I can sew that back! There is also a hole for the leash to go through which I thought was clever! I took it to a seamster to get an extra strap of elastic sewn it so that I could tie it loosely by his belly as well. This helped to keep the costume in place. I recommend it, just be careful with the size!

This costume was a huge hit at the Halloween party we went to... our dog even won first place in the costume contest. However, you definitely get what you pay for. I couldn't believe how cheap this was when I ordered it and when it arrived I could see why... VERY thin, inexpensive fabric that likely wouldn't last for more than a few wears if your dog has any energy at all. Worth it for one or two parties, though!

Greatest product that I have bought. I wore it for halloween and it was a huge hit! I am sure that it would look great on a dog, too.
