This smells great and not a strong overpower smell. It works also to keep the insects off. I found that to be true, the direction states to use as a refresher also but I usally just give my pooch another bath. I like it! I think if your on the fence you should give it a try.

I love this smell, I actually don't use it very often, when the dog starts to smell - I just bath her again.
