What a sweet, little pair of binoculars! I can carry them with ease, use them in the rain (a must for an Oregon bird watcher) and they adjust easily to use with my glasses and sunglasses in place. I get a clear, close-up view.

This is the first real pair of binoculars I have ever purchased. As soon as I took them out of the box I was impressed by the clarity.They are very easy to focus with the single knob in the center of the sight lenses. The rubberized coating makes them highly tactile. I am planning on using them for hunting so I was interested in finding a pair that were water and fog proof. The compact size was also a major buying point. I could easily read the liscense plate on a neighbors car from over 150 yrds. May update after more field use but so far ......great buy!!!

The right barrel's diopter needed to be adjusted to the max.
However both my eyes are focusing equal and other binoculars with similar specifications (like the Pentax 62211 UCF-X II 8x25) do just fine. I know there are variations in lens manufacturing and I didn't expect a Zeiss for $50. I also don't mind to adjust a bit for a slight optical difference between the two binocular barrels. However having to twist the diopter knob all the way for normal eyes, doesn't leave any room for a person who has two eyes with different focal lengths.
I know how to adjust and use a binocular. I have used them in the army and know a bit about lenses being a photographer. Also learned a thing or two about optics while studying engineering.
I really wanted to like this binocular from Bushnell. It feels very rugged and is clearly more fog resistant than the Pentax which I mentioned earlier. Waterproof is a big bonus but I didn't test that for obvious reasons. :-)
I think Bushnell has just a big deviation while manufacturing the lenses and doesn't do much quality control to sort out the bad ones. If you get a good copy however I am sure you will be very happy.

I needed a good pair of binoculars but something small enough that I could easily take hiking with me. These are perfect! They are clear and easy to use. The weight is light enough that they don't bother me.

No issues with binoculars fogging up, went from hot truck to cold outside and back all day long with no issues fogging up. Great clarity but field of vision isn't as large as I would hope but still good. Only downside is the lens caps are cheap and individual (not connected together or to the binoculars). Also they don't go on that easy, cannot put lenses covers on when the eye pieces are extended for people without glasses. If you do it pushes them in and probably isn't good for them. I do recommended to anyone for the price and quality. It is also a little heavier than I would like to be carrying around my neck for extended periods.
