I bought these because they were inexpensive and I wanted them for
pointing out birds for photography. I left them in the sun at the beach on the first day and the
rubber protection started coming off.
Otherwise, they have been very handy. For the price I have no complains, just do not leave in the sun!

I don't like the large marine 7x50 binoculars currently popular; too big, too expensive and unless you're 20 years old you won't benefit from the light enhancement. These small 7x25 looked like the perfect set, waterproof and not too expensive that I'd cry if they fell overboard. They are however of very poor quality. The left eye is distorted and cannot be focused, and adjusting the right does not compensate. The canvas case is so tight fitting that I have not been able to fit them back in. Even for the price, I don't think these optics are worth it.

These are a thin pair of binoculars that are quite heavy, I did not need them for my purposes but I imagine if you need a pair of small good quality binoculars that are waterproof to the extent that these are, then this would be a nice pick for you.
