Broke Aug 21, 2010 When i received it, I put it together and added my seed to it. I attached it to the
tree branch and by the end of the day I saw that it had fallen from the tree. To my surprise, it broke in pieces.
So, no I would not recommend it nor buy it again

Sky Cafe Jul 29, 2010 While there are many types of bird feeders, this one meets many needs. It can be easily mounted on a pole or hung. Having several in operation, I can say that the feed divider (4 sections) helps attract more birds. I am not exactly why, except it seems that when you have different feeds, the birds appear to congregate more. I have experimented both ways. Simple and foolproof, this product represents easy maintainence for a long term solution.
Done in by a squirrel! Jul 11, 2010 If you have squirrels that can get into your feeders, do not buy this feeder. Within a week, the squirrels had managed to break the tray and knock the whole bottom half off. The plastic really isn't strong enough for the size of the feeder. Spend your money on a sturdier feeder!

Wild Bird Feeder 360 Sky Cafe Jun 24, 2010 The Arundale 360 Sky Cafe Wild Bird Feeder has been a great source of entertainment for us. Not only is it squirrel proof if installed according to instructions, it has a bin large enough to last for about 7-10 days for the birds that feed there. What has pleased us most (after we added a mixture of feed that is supposed to attract song birds) is that not only have we watched squirrels slide off and bounce on the ground, but we have also watched multiple mockingbirds "unite" to ward off squirrel attacks by chasing squirrels around the yard. I never realized that these birds could intimidate squirrels, but they can. So, now our birds eat without threats from squirrels, but squirrels get only the food off the ground that the birds knock out of the feeder while feeding (not much). Bottom line is that birds are safe and squirrels cannot attack them. We are not only satisfied with the product, we are convinced that the now more than 25-30 birds that visit the sky cafe regularly feel safe: cardinals, mockingbirds, and other song birds. Now our backyard and deck are truly more enjoyable as a result of this incomparable squirrel-proof feeder. We tried 3 other feeders and none worked as well. This is the feeder to buy if you want a "squirrel-proof" feeder.
Spills seed all over... Jun 09, 2010 It's a neat design, but we've tried three seed mixtures right now and they all end up spilled all over the ground. The first two fillings I used a "wide assortment" mix, but after the mess that was made I decided to change some things.
I have it hanging from a tall spruce tree right next to the house on a protected side. Utah is dry, we don't really need the drain holes in the perch. This was a major cause of mess, birds would land and seed would spill from the large drain holes.
So I filled all the drain holes in the perch with silicone caulk. Finally, the splillage problem is fixed, right?
Wrong. This time it's a sunflower/millet mixture and after about 30 hours, about 1/4 to 1/3 of the seed is on the ground. There is seed everywhere. Not only is it protected from wind in its location, we've had two high-pressure days with no wind. Yet it is spilling more seed than ever!
A previous writer said that it was hard to get seed out. I suspect they changed the design to let more seed out, and BOY, does it let the seed out. At this rate I'll be out of seed in less than a week, The seed on the ground is an inch thick. That's going to just attract rats.
I don't know what makes mine different, but I am very disappointed. I can pour seed on the ground without the need of an expensive feeder. Perhaps I need to start plugging the seed bin output holes...I don't know.
I do know one thing...why my local Wild Bird Center had this on closeout sale.
