I have four, count'em, four dogs. Two little ones and two big ones. One of the little guys doesn't like the salmon oil, but the other three really seem to enjoy their food much more with the salmon oil added. My wife says the oil has an unpleasent smell when freshly applied but I can't smell anything. She's a fussbudget. This product does seem to improve the flavor of their food and if the health claims are true, so much the better.
Not a perfect score, but 3 out of 4 dogs ain't bad.

I have six Chihuahua's and a German Shepherd. They all LOVE this product. I put two bowls of food down for the Chi's one with the Salmon oil on it and one without. They emptied the bowl with the Salmon oil and left the other !!!! A great oil supplement if your looking for one. I highly recommend this product.

Salmon Oil Holistic Salve for Pet Skin Irritation! May 03, 2011

Purchased this item based upon veterinary and other pet owner recommendations....my new puppy had a chronic dry skin condition that made her miserable. Rather than pay for expensive allergy shots...the suggestion was to try this product. The jury is back and it is indeed a holistic solution and a wonderful product!
There is a more than ample supply of oil and it is easy to mix a few drops on top of dry dog food...making it much more palatable for your pet! The primary benefit was to reduce skin irritation, dry skin and constant scratching---it more met the mark! My dog is notably less irritated and the chronic discomfort has been reduced to occasional scratching. What a relief for my little Ripley... and for me! Its unsettling to watch your puppy suffer and I had tried several other remedies to no avail...and yippppeeeee, this one worked just as advertised!
The value is excellent...it has substantial volume and requires only spare amounts per dish of food...it lasts! I will be getting more and recommend it highly!
The only drawback is that the package leaked a bit because the makers ensure your bottle is filled to capacity...no gypping you with a partially filled container. The use of the product does have some aroma, but it does not linger in the air, just requires a good soaping of your hands after using.

Product arrived in a timely manner (it was the last day of the window for "estimated delivery date", which was impressive due to the snow storms on the East Coast during that entire week)!!
Bottle was in brand new condition, sealed & wrapped nicely. Pump was easy to put together & squirts right onto the food!
Dogs love the taste of it, they'll lick it off all the kibble before heading back for the real food!!!

My bulldogs are prone to dry skin and course fur, this has soften their coats within 2 weeks! I'm very pleased. Once in a while one will burp a salmon burp but I'll put up with that.
