An alternative for Melafix if you need it. Apr 10, 2007
By K.M. Viglione Bettafix is a nice little remedy to keep for your bettas. It has dosing instructions for the small bowls commonly sold for betta housing (though I wouldn't recommend them.) It's not as powerful as Melafix, but the up-side to this is that it's harder for the fish to overdose on. I wouldn't recommend relying solely on this medication to treat fish illness, but use it as a supplement if you have a seriously ill fish who needs a little extra medicine.

Within just a few days my Betta (named BUK GArcia) began to regain his energy and good health. He now acts more fiesty and eats more. Thanks for the great product

BETTA FIX Dec 23, 2009
By CRYSTAL.NIGHTSHADE I LIKE THIS PRODUCT BECAUSE IT IS NATURAL, MADE FROM TEA TREE & CAN BE USED WITH OTHER PRODUCTS, IF YOUR BETTA IS VERY SICK. I CREDIT IT WITH HELPING TO SAVE MY NEW BETTA'S LIFE.

Works great! Dec 19, 2009
By Sherry York I bought this because my betta was very pale and inactive. I used it as directed and within a day he was looking much better and more active. This is the first time I have used something that worked to cure an ailing fish. I continued to used as directed for the time it said and after the week my betta was as good a new. This product is all natural too so that is a plus. I would highly recommend it at the first sign of trouble. Great product!
Little Effect Jan 22, 2012
By Brandon Johnson My betta is in a 2 gallon bowl and has a mild case of fin rot. Followed the instructions exactly for 7 days. The progress of the rot seems to have stopped and he perked up a little but his tail has not started showing any signs of healing. This is too mild to really have much of an effect in my opinion.
