We are loving our heated bucket! The cord has wire coiling around it to prevent your pet from chewing it and electrocuting themselves. The only thing I would change is for it to have a longer cord, but that really is not a huge deal. It works great especially in 0 degree temperatures. I hope it lasts for many seasons.

I have had 2 of these bucks. When they are working, they are great. However, one of the buckets quite on me after one season. The other bucket stop working after 3 seasons. I also had a bird bath heater made by Allied Precision that also failed after one season. It's now the middle of winter I and I am once again looking urgently looking for bucket heaters.

I know your saying how could a bucket possibly change someone's life.. well skeptics I'll tell you that your right it can't... or can it. My dog suffered from Halitosis. Now in case you don't know what that is there are a number of online resources that can guide you to enlightenment, nevertheless its caused from ingesting an insufficient amount of water over a long period. I am ashamed to admit this but I will give this bucket all the respect it deserves, after she was diagnosised with Halitosis our relationship started to fall apart. I'll admit it was shallow, but to have to deal with an animal with Halitosis was the hardest thing I have ever endured and I broke. Our days of happiness seemed to be lost forever. So about 3 o'clock yesterday everything changed. I heard about this bucket that plugs in so your animals water would never freeze. I thought this cant be this whole day of suffering and the answer was so simple, and it was, it really was. it just fill my heart with joy that my dog will never have a frozen bucket of water again. this bucket changed my life and has enhanced the life of my best friend, zoe the dog. thank you bucket with all my heart.
