Product is accurate and a good tool for determining if there is an overfeeding or overcrowding problem in an aquarium. Also indicates whether or not enough maintenance(ie. water changes)is being done on your tank.

There's a lot of options out there for testing Ammonia levels, in Freshwater nothing is better than the API Test. While I find the 5 in 1 strips fine for things like PH,GH, Nitrate and Nitrate, the ammonia ones never seem to be accurate. This is always on point, never gets it wrong.

I wouldn't use anything else for Ammonia.

I use this ammonia test almost daily. Its quick an accurate..
API is wonderful.

The only downside is the chemical smell, but that's not a big deal.

The test works great, but the test tube is made of very thin glass and broke after just a couple tests. I was putting the cap on and the tube broke in half. I wasn't being rough either, just simply putting the cap on. Can't do much without that tube...
